Bunnie my Easter Amigurumi Rabbit ...

I think I have Amigurumi addiction!
Josephine Wu from A morning cup of Jo shared a free pattern from her Spring Squishies' collection, and I tried out the rabbit's pattern but I couldn't resist not giving Bunnie a body because she is tooooooo CUTE!
I finished the head easily, and her pattern is huge!
The largest circumference is x42 stitches but luckily I used 2.25mm crochet, so the rabbit head is at a control size! I used my new 6mm eyes and 6mm Pink heart nose.
I even gave Bunnie a Ribbon!
And added blush on her cheeks, some eyeliner, and lashes too!

Finished the body and dress in one night too!
I am really getting FAST!
I only start to write down when I wrote this post, so follow at own risk and own understanding, hahaha!
Freehand for the body, didn't follow any pattern.
Feet - Magic Ring 6, 12 x5 rows
Body - Joint feet 24 x1, 24 (back Loop), 24 x2, (sc 2 dec 2)18 x2, (sc 1 dec 2)12 x3, (dec 2)6 x1
Skirt - Sc x3 at backloop, 3-5 half double crochet all around in each backloop.
Hand - Magic Ring 6, (sc1 inc2) 9 x2, (sc 1 dec 2) 6 x5
Right after I stitched everything together, I crochet a yellow small basket for Bunnie to collect her Easter Eggs!
Bunnie actually has a finger but I don't know how to write that pattern, so I can only give a 'fist' pattern!
She is one of my Sweetest, Pinki-est amigurumi!
I gotten Hubba to name her and he says "Bunnie"!
So UNORIGINAL right ...
But I since I asked him, I have to respect his decision.
So she is Bunnie my Easter Amigurumi Rabbit!
And she is OUT collecting Easter Eggs!
Happy Easter Day, everyone!

AMIGURUMI : Little Twin Stars, Kiki & Lala !

Ser insists, she only collects Little Twin Star and ONLY LTS!

I really have no confident and there isn't any good design that I could buy or copy or use, so I have to totally come out with my own design!
I started out with the most difficult part of this journey Lala's head which I want her hair to look bouncy and flowy, and not like a piece of heavy blanket! If I can finish Lala's head, then Kiki shouldn't be a problem!

误打误撞, I managed to crochet out something that I planned and it looks exactly that I imagine it to be!
Yeah!!!
Even her skirt has this 'Star' edges' effect, but the stitch I used for the head is the same for the skirt!

Kiki NEXT,
Kiki is so much easier but for some reason because I didn't note down the pattern I used for Lala, Kiki's head looks smaller! Hahaha, is it because of the Yarn's tension? I was so nervous doing Lala's and I have to keep thinking, planning the next step for Lala, but for Kiki it is so much easier. So Kiki's stitches are so much nicer and 'tight'!
The most difficult part, done!
Off with their, BODIES ...
When I show the unstitched version to Ser, she requested Kiki's star to be strapped onto his pink ribbon belt, and convert Lala's star into a wand. I asked her to give me suggestion for the wand, and she gave me a good suggestion; Cotton Bud. SO much request, hahaha but I very accomodating hor. Since its for her, I guess it should be as perfect for her as possible.
So I have this as my, almost, end-product.
But I only has size 12mm plastic safety eyes which are too big for their tiny face.
And I go ahead and ordered more eyes and noses online for more future project.
Bermudas for Kiki because it will look so weird to me, if he has the same style as Lala?
Well they still look like Little Twin Star with the different dressing style right?
They were left in the basket for sometime before they are given some nice photoshoot!
This is the ONE AND ONLY Limited Edition Little Twin Star Kiki and Lala, in the WORLD!
One reason because I didn't note down the pattern, so even if I do a 2nd one, it will be different, hahaha!
They have so much secrets together ...

The crochet craftwork is actually very shoddy because I am very nervous about the whole project. And there is alot of times when I just want to give up because I don't know whether Lala's hair will work out like I wanted it to be.
Thanks god, everything work out well!
They are really the cutest couple around town right!
Do you like my version of Amigurumi Little Twin Star, Kiki and Lala?

2 Groupon Voucher; Indian Cusine and Yoghurt Ice-cream.

1st stop, Vindu Indian Cuisine.
Now then I see the restaurant has free Wi-fi, hahaha.
The restaurant is very clean, and smells very Indian's SPICE-Y!
We are served with this "Cracker" thingy, I suspect it's fish.
And also given one mint sauce, and another sourish, sweet sauce.
We are the first dinner's customer.

The Voucher include; 1 Appetizer, 2 Entree and 1 Dessert.

CHICKEN LAL MIRCHI
(Chicken white meat mixed with ginger, garlic sauce &deep fried)
Hubba LOVES this appetizer dish!

For the 2 Entree;
TANDOORI MIXED GRILL
A combination of Tandoori Chicken,Chicken Tikka, Sheesh Kebab & Tandoori Shrimp

LAMB CURRY (BONE LESS)
Lamb cooked with tomato, onion & mild curry sauce
I think most of the Entree are either served with Rice or Naan (bread).
And I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bread!
Soft and hot!!!
I think I ate alot of the bread ...
The rice is good too, but I LOVE the bread more.
So we didn't eat much of the rice, and take home to maybe fried rice?
And lastly, the Mango dessert is very custard-ly and the mango is REAL mango!
Not overly sweet, and can really taste the mango; 'PASS'!
In the end, there is a 'AUTOMATIC' gratuity, or do they mean 'COMPULSORY'?
In the end, we paid USD25 + USD7.55 for this meal.
Yoghurt @ Velvet Spoon Frozen Yogurt; Watter Creek, next!
Its $5 for $12 frozen yogurt, up to about 24oz!
We managed to squeeze 2 tubs of yogurt and brought it home for Supper!
So much FOOD in 1 day, and still not including the large wok of Beehoon I fried in the morning ...
Need to lose some weight to prepare my trip back to Singapore to EAT MORE!!!

"Salsie" the fierce, spicy, red and hot 小辣椒 Amigurumi Rabbit!

Gf strictly gave 'order', NO PINK!
And I used yellow for Bearie, blue is too mild and dull for my spicy gf ...

So the theme is RED, hot chilli pepper, to match her fierce red car.
Let's start ...

In a few hours time, I can finish the head and the body.
I used the same lueandsue pattern but again I gotten a totally different count, hahaha!
Ear and cut out 2 felt!
Eyelashes to make the rabbit more girly ...
I seriously hate cutting felt, but they make the final product look more finished.

I have gotten used to sewing the felt to the amigurumi piece!
I used to fumble through but now I know exactly what to do.
Dress UP!
I need to have a new dress design!
Have to do an extra limb because I gotten too tired, and the first limb is too BIG!
I have mismatched limb, so I have to do the 3rd one ...
All pinned!
Look good?
And accessories for the day, a Dahlias from stitch11.com
Photoshoot!
She has got a pom pom tail too!

Close up!
Salsie is going for an adventure ride soon ...
Hope my gf likes her!
