Buncto - #20 Steam Unagi and Asparagus

Hubs complained that the rice is toooooo dry yesterday so I have to 'wet' the rice today using the Oyakodon method. And I prepare a side salad for him as well ...

Today's menu: Steamed unagi, Apple coleslaw and Steam asparagus.
Soft chewy unagi!
I prepare the sauce for the rice, Oyakodon style...
Place rice in rice cooker, steam the frozen unagi with asparagus.

Ingredient for sweet soy sauce for rice: Minced garlic, sliced onion and 1 egg.
Seasoning : 1/3 cup Chicken stock, 1 tbsp of Soy Sauce, 1/2 tbsp of mirin, 1/4 tbsp sugar.
Add oil, slightly pan-fry the garlic and onion before boiling the sauce and when the sauce is boiling add in the egg and switch off the fire. Let egg cook.

I love oyakodon style rice; they are sticky, sweet and chewy.
Hopefully Hub loves it too, and not complain too dry!
