Quizbox : Get to know yourself better

From Quizbox

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
>> TRUE, because I like to please everyone. I try to anyway...

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
>> I don't think so, I cannot stand man who are very untidy and unkempt or wear overly outrageous stuffs or too vain! SO I judge and especially FIRST LOOK, is very important to me. ONE look that is enough for me to accept or reject! Yah, I am shallow ...

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
>> Surprisingly, I fall in love easy but usually I need to know a person very well to commit in a long term relationship. Those that I do not know long enough usually the relatonship doesn't last ...

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
>> Too practical to believe in LOVE and romance so wouldn't waste too much time on people I know there wouldn't be a chance ...

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
>> I like learning but hate test. Don't believe the cramping of test and examination is a measurement of what we have learnt and absorbed into our brains.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
>> So very true, I AM SO PRACTICAL, I have basically give up dreams of being a makeup artist, fashion merchandising, hairdresser etc. Rather choose a boring office job as such that I won't starve to death ...

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
>> Not a risk taker, don't like to lose. Or cannot stand failure. Rather be at a lousy normal job than fail in something I love.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
>> That explains the vainity? I just cannot stand sloppiness. Maybe deep inside me I am really insecure of who I am ...

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
>> Hahaha Mature? NO WAY!

Hong Kong/ Shen Zhen Buys!

Once touch down, my hubby is not feeling very well and was very very SICK for the whole of the trips! So I am busy running up and down JORDAN road to buy him food rather than SHOPPING along Mongkok! But he is so poor thing, he is looking so much to this trip but the body just couldnt take frequent travelling about and fell sick ...

But anywhere, alot of the HK photos are with my girlfriends, I shall try to upload MY BUYS first, which is NOT ALOT, or as much as I like it to be because stuffs in Shenzhen are obscenely CHEAP! I guess NO MORE BANGKOK or HONG KONG! Shopping shall be Shenzhen! And BARGAIN!

First day in Shenzhen I did get some good quality tees, but I am still holding back because I wanted to compare the price in Shenzhen and Hongkong. In within the cheapo buys can you spot the UNIQLO TOP(Jap Brand)? Still Shenzhen, we went along with a Friend's galfren and we didn't bargain alot because she didn't and we followed thinking bargaining is not allowed. When we come back to Shenzhen again, HOW WRONG are we!!
Yeah, non original Good quality Lesportsac. I don't know whether we should have bargain but then the price comparing to Bangkok is not that cheap as well but the quality is undeniably good. But it is still Caveat emptor (Buyer Beware)! We bought quite alot of boxy cover to keep our winter wear in USA. Hope it doesn't tear on us ...
These are buys from Hong Kong "Fayuen street" (Flower street). Pricing comparing to SZ loses out alot but there are still some quality buys which a tad more ex but still within the range of SGD10-15, which is still considerably cheap compares to Singapore.
Some other barangs barangs from the medical hall, stationary stalls, and Sasa/Bonjour ...
Still HK buys and Esprit Outlet tees for MOM. Esprit outlet as compares to a few years ago that I went to HK has changed, it is not as cheap as it used to be. NOT WORTH going down AT ALL! CITYGATE outlet is a BIG NO NO NO NO, don't waste time. Fly yourself straight to Shenzhen! We have our own Esprit outlet in Singapore which cost about the same as the one in HK!
Yeah me and HY loves loves the Almond flakes pastry! I bought like about 12 packets, HY bought like UNCOUNTABLE packets, plus 2 tin of Mooncakes!
We return back to Shenzhen after 3D2N in Hongkong. And the Shopping continues, we thought that my hb will get better but he didn't and gotten worst. So my last day in Shenzhen was spend in the apartment nursing him. But still the first night, these are what I gotten ...
Please remember to BARGAIN. In some stores we CUT off almost 50% or even 70% off the original price. They are rather 'fierce', some stuffs we don't intend to buy and requested a discount at a rather unreasonable stupid pricing, the Sales actually RAN OUT OF the store, about 4-5 stores chasing after us telling us they give us the price we wanted. TERRIBLE!! There is a bag RMB120, cut till RMB60! Or some TOPS, RMB 70 cut till RMB 25! Tights, RMB 69 cut till RMB 20! REMEMBER BARGAIN, and if they don't give you just WALKED out, there are ALOT more same design everywhere along the shops everywhere in Shenzhen "LAO JIE" (老街), DONG MENG DING (东门定) ...
And the last day, while I am in the apartment feeding and nursing hubby, my friends got me a few items still hahahaha ~ Handphone SMS buying ...
I thought I can get all my next year SHOPPING buy done but it seems like it is just not meant to be, next time then. Hopefully I can get a satisfying buying trip soon again ~

Gadget Update : I need ...

Gadget Update!
24MM wide angle Camera: SONY or CANON!?
I need some basic gadget to survive and these are my current WISHLIST, hahahaha ~

After using a Canon Ixus 400, Nikon 4100, Casio S500 and follow by 4 Sony T10 (lost one in Bangkok!) and currently I am using a Sony W300!! I only believe in SONY and CANON for digital camera! Don't need to convince me with ANY other brands, hahaha~

AND, Now this is the FIRST TIME I see a 24MM Super wide angle LENS for small digicamera! The widest used to be 28MM and now it seems like the NOMRAL production is 28MM, and the latest fad should be 24MM SUPER WIDE ANGLE!(Credit : Info and pictures from

Sony camera give a more vibrant, Yellowish tone, and Canon pictures are more neutral and a tad too dull for online usage. But I think if You are developing the photographs, you can choose to use CANON, more natural.

Headache, which one should I target on, incase my hubby decide to buy me a present for NO REASON! Hahahaha ~
I am hoping he upgrade my laptop SOON!
Oh talking about that MY MP3 is spoil FINALLY, YEAH!

My Next aim, the Sony S series Walkman with Built in Speaker. Yah, me is so weird, I only get Mp3 with built in speaker!WISH HARDER!
Hope Santa Png hears it!

Movie day - Coco before chanel

Prepare 2 hour before hand. And I tried using the EDM Peach Base as the ORANGE concealor as recommended by alot of beauty blogger. I think my Dark Eye is GONE case! Bloat, Dark and Deep + Oily and WRINKLY! Maybe I didn't apply properly so still can see the line but at least it is not ashy as when used Yellow corrector. I have to fine tune my application method ~ These few pictures sum up my day. Food, Movie and Coffee ~

Karaoke Day and Night ~

My most basic, minimum make up look.
Concealer, Base, Highlight Underbrow, fill in Brow, line upper lid and BLUSH BLUSH BLUSH! Today, I join my gf and her friend to a Weekday Night Karaoke! 7p -11pm, I LOVE Singing! Although I cannot sing as well as I used to but my lung capacity is only operation at 70%. 30% is DEEP FRIED by SEVERE Radiation!! Bummer, but I still LOVE to Sing/Shout my LUNG out! Today before the Karaoke Invitation I have already planned to try out this Greyish Smokey look. But this dramatic look is a tad too much for a weekday Karaoke session. Hahaha, I don't want to scare LS's friend.

Anyway so when I got home, I just ADD on to my current base to try it out. 3 more colour, and you get a Normal Office look convert into a smokey night of CLUBBING!! Not bad if you are going straight out from a office day WORK yah ~
3 Colours Added :
TKB Antique Silver - Lid
EDM Smokey - Outer crease Contouring
EDM Aussie Perk Me up - Under Brow Highlighting

It does make a difference right, my version of DAY and NIGHT!
I know the look is very unpolished but then I am not going out. If not I would be darkening the under lid with Revlon Colorstay Kohl Pencil and of course THICK THICK mascara.

Peachy Orangey Smoked it!

Just for home and practising ...
Looking at his video, I feel that I need to do some practising. So I just pulled out a few colours to try.

Eyelid :
TKB Tangerine Pop
EDM In the garden
EDM Peach Base
SM Soft Sun

Eye Pencil :
Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Crayon
Kate Super Sharp Liner

And I tried contouring, it seems obvious when you take CLOSE UP photos but i don't know whether it helps when the photo is taken at a distance. But usually I brush my bronzer to the CHIN area to create the SHARPER chin look. But the cheek contour is when I still have ALOT of time. The cheek contour need more time to blend out the colour if not the look is very harsh! Ha, I actually post up a UNFINISHED look of myself, BROW not fill in yet, kekeke ~
The video tutorial by gossmakeupartist is indeed useful. I find that my blending of Outer V, is FLAWLESS even with my LOUSY brush! Right picture below shows the 'shadow' of the contouring, making the face look so much slimmer ~
But too bad, I am at home and have no intention to go out!
Bummer ~

Ulta 20% discount - Primers and Concealers!
