And December comes ...

I think I prefer this kinda of more neutral look. Neutral colour at the eye just some colour to show the crease ... 2nd order from coastalscents and I bought a Vitamin Primer which was said to be 'good' for the skin. And there are some reviews who say they use the powder on their face to sleep and see improvement. Hmmmm, if that is so, it should be a good primer, at least healthy primer for a base ...
More neutral dual tone ...
My first Birthday Gift of 2008 , and also my FIRST COACH skinny watch!
Smokey pout, love this look ...
2nd Birthday Gift, Swaroski pendant ...
3rd part, a more daily usage watch, BCBG girls skinny watch.
Erm browns again ...

Shopping for SHOES!
That all for December 2008 ~
Look like a good ending to me ...

More trial and errors

Hahaha, still don't know what I am doing. Just do it like I was doing drawing. No blending, no creasing, just COLOUR in the eyeshadow. NEVERMIND, go out with that ALSO! And brought back a milky neutrogena cleanser. Since I am in a house the WHOLE day, guess I do not need such a 'harsh' cleanser for the face. And I finally, invested in brushes from Coastalscents.com. It cost YQ USD60.84 from coastalscents.com
And the same day I ordered some eyeshadows from Everyday Minerals Eyeshadow sample kit.

I have very oily lid, thus the colour doesn't really 'stick' on the lid. And from research, I know I have to get a PRIMER. So I get it from Coastalscents, and regretted it. It doesn't suit me and it was not easy to put it on. But still I tolerated it for some time ...
And my pores look bigger with the usage of Minerals, I read online it happens to some people too. And the recommendation was 'PRIMER' for the face, and after 'extensive' reasearch, I found that the cheapest alternatives; Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel. 5 Stars for this product!
And I have more toys to play with ...
A simple look ...
Try out the FIRST time, dual colour wuth Cherry fizz and one of the browns that I have ...
Make me look very MATURE with such colours! I don't like :x ...
Dual tone trial out ...
A more natural dual tone ...
I decide that I am more suitable for a neutral dual tone eyeshadows ...

Looking better after each trial and error ...
At this point of time, I still don't know what I am doing.

Practise and practise, trial and error ...

And in October Signature Mineral came, when I saw the major difference of the samples size. My mind is MADE UP! I will go with Everyday Mineral because their sample size are HUGE compare to Signature mineral. At this point, I would have like 13 sample size minerals ... I was so excited I made my order with EDM and spent about USD75+ with their 10pc kit. That is really Value for $$$. I got like 4 different blusher (3 powder 1 compress powder), 2 foundations, 1 concealer, 1 compress powder foundation, 1 eyeshadow, 5 different brushes and one green tea face cream!! AND still can get ONE more set of FREE Trials which consist of 6 sample JARS again

My initial 'trial' with smokey eye. I don't know what I was doing but I thought I did fine. Hahahaha ~ Other trial and errors ~ I still tried a few times with the smokey eyes and FAIL. Didn't know what I was doing and what was lacking. I just know that something is NOT RIGHT, so most of the time, I still go safe with the usual light makeup ...
NVM, I have thick sin, so I don't really care ...

Hahahahaha~

My first taste of Mineral Make UP - Everyday Mineral Samples ...

Searching around it goes down to 2 choice, Everyday Mineral or Signature Mineral.
There are so much choices online! Juse foundation, concealor and blush and tt was so natural, I LOVE it. And I try to use ALL-mineral makeup ON MY face as much as possible. So after searching around, I found this cheap alternative to MAC Fluidliner. I found Jane Be Pure Mineral Gel Liner. Yipppeeeee ....Opps before EDM, I have tried Neutrogena Mineral but it was TOO FINE for my likings. I still like to feel some 'powder' on my face. EDM was sooooooooooo FINE, it was like I didn't put anything on the face. But you know you did when you wash your face because the colour will come out ...

About this blog

I am a Singaporean bored housewife somewhere far far away in Texas. So staying young, looking pretty and being healthy is MY JOB now.

Here, MAINLY journals my makeup journey with minerals which started about Sep 08'. I am a newbie in Makeup, only starting to experimental with Eye shadow colours in Dec' 08.

At current my 3 major hobby are Blogging, shopping and Make up! And now I am combining them here; Make Up + blogging and maybe abit of my shopping hauls. I cook everyday too and starting to enjoy it BUT hate washing up. Might have some FOODie post and some travelling post as well!!

Conclusion
Makeup with minerals + Skincare + Blogging + Shopping + Travelling + Photography = My Junk Hobbies!
